Two new comets were announced on April 10. Comet MASTER (2015 G2) and Comet SWAN-Xingming (2015 F5).
Comet MASTER is quite close to the sun at the moment, discovered on April 7th by astronomers using the MASTER-SAAO telescope at the South African Astronomical Observatory near Sutherland it shone at magnitude +10.7 and is brightening quite nicely expected to reach magnitude +5 by May.
Comet SWAN-Xingming currently residing in Perseus reached perihelion in March and is now fading. It was predicted to be at magnitude 8.5 at the time of writing.
